Some people don't have a high opinion of Coalville in North West Leicestershire. OK it lacks the picturesque beauty of Cotswold villages and the concrete shopping centre that was state of the art in 1963 looks dated now. But Coalville has a lot going for it. The town is full of (and surrounded by industrial heritage. There are some wonderful architectural brick buildings. But best of all is that within and around Coalville there is some fabulous and scenic countryside. This page will add a couple of walks a year to help people enjoy the glories of walking in and around Coalville.
