Barnsdale Gardens where Geoff Hamilton 1936-1996 created so many of the gardens for BBC's Gardeners' World, the programme that introduced me to gardening. The gardens that he created were sized for ordinary houses - although with the way gardens have shrunk in new houses they would now be to big. Managed by Geoff's son Nick. First autumn visit and first with the family.
